Huawei announced the fastest 2.5 GHz/3.5GHz Category 12 CPE solution, commercially available in the United States, at WISPAPALOOZA 2016 event in Las Vegas.

Huawei also plans to build a carrier-class fixed wireless network in central Wisconsin, United States, in partnership with Country Wireless.
The Cat 12 CPE solution claims to be the first of its kind CPE capable of simultaneously supporting 4×4 MIMO and 2CC Carrier Aggregation technologies, and achieving downlink throughput up to 440Mbps.
Working with TD-LTE base stations by Huawei, the solution will act as a robust wireless solution offered in both indoor and outdoor configurations.
“Fixed wireless provides a cost-effective alternative to broadband operators with its quick deployment and easy plug-and-play installation paradigm,” said Ming He, president of Huawei Technologies USA.
Alongside the CPE supporting both 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz, Huawei is launching advanced LTE technologies like downlink 8×8 MIMO, 4-carrier aggregation and 256QAM soon. Increase of spectrum efficiency and connecting rates of up to 1 Gbps is the end result.
At the same time, on the fixed wireless network, Country Wireless applies migrated technology to serve rural markets and had picked Huawei, six months ago.
The 4T4R TDD LTE RAN solution by Huawei will enable Country Wireless to offer maximum speed of up to 100 Mbps per user with current 2Rx CPE, which could further double by using Huawei 4T4R CPE, to be available in Q4 2016.
Country Wireless plans to cover an estimated 5,000 homes with TDD LTE Fixed Wireless technology, aiming at growth without replacing the existing infrastructure to deliver LTE-Advanced performance to its subscribers.
Both the current 3.65 to 3.7GHz spectrum and the new 3.55 to 3.65GHz FCC spectrum when available, can be handled with the Huawei solution.
Country Wireless launched its Tier 1 partner service in June this year and aims to expand its solution to result in a complete fixed wireless LTE- Advanced network for its subscribers in the upcoming months.
Huawei, with revenue up by 40 percent in first half of 2016,  recently announced many solutions and services like the two core Digital Urban Rail 2.0 solutions including the cloud-based Traffic Control Integrated Automation Systems (TIAS) solution and next-generation Urban Rail Data Communication System (DCS) solution.
Also, it revealed a DOCSIS prototype supporting a downstream rate of 25Gbps and a series of E2E solutions intended for global Multi-System Operators (MSOs).
